Frank Lloyd Wright Inspired KITCHEN Renovation

Our Wright Inspired Reno clients approached us with a fun challenge.  We were asked to design a “unique” space that would fit with their home’s Frank Lloyd Wright architecture.  We decided to move away from the dated oak wood for the cabinetry and selected maple in a warm honey stain, which coordinated well with the wood trim throughout the home.

In a great effort to be green, our clients wanted to reuse their tile floor, the majority of their existing appliances, as well as the white Corian countertops, which were in great condition.  With the tile floor remaining the same, we were locked into the exiting footprint of the kitchen area.

We added in fun “Wright” style details throughout the design and our clients love the end result!

Outstanding Houzz Review!

We were pretty excited to read the latest review on our Houzz page!  Our client also took a moment to post a few photos on our FaceBook page.

In case you don't have access to these sites, here is the review:

Relationship: Client

Project Date: January 2014

Project Price Range: $10,000-$49,999

I knew from the beginning that I needed a designer to help with a complete remodel of my almost 30 year old kitchen. A friend recommended Kitchen Bath Details and it was GREAT experience from start to finish. Tena designed a fabulous kitchen that is both beautiful , functional and meets all my needs. Beyond the design, Tena, Jill and Lauren were there every step of the way to help with all my decisions from appliances to hardware to and color and organizer ideas. They are responsive to your needs and work well as a team with your contractor to address any issues that come up during the installation process. It was great working with each of them and the end result of all their design work is an absolutely AMAZING kitchen.. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a stress free experience.

Bullivant Farm Kitchen & Bath Remodel

Our Bullivant Farm project started back in 2008. We worked with In-House Custom to remodel three bathrooms and spruced up the kitchen with gorgeous new countertops, fixtures, etc.  Our clients were extremely happy with the results! In the early months of 2011, this beautiful home was destroyed by a horrible fire (everything but the Master Bath – pictured below). Although the circumstances weren’t great, we had the pleasure of working with these wonderful clients again to rebuild the home. The kitchen was done in a combination of StarMark and Medallion Cabinetry, beautiful green granite countertops, SubZero refrigeration and a Wolf cooktop. The end result is breathtaking!

Snow Fields - Old World Style

It is very special to have a kitchen large enough to accommodate an enormous island and a table that easily seats six!  In this kitchen Chief Designer Tena Collyer was inspired by the high ceilings and wooden beams. The centerpiece of the room is the Plain & Fancy white latte glazed island, all topped with stunning granite countertops. High end, Sub Zero and Wolf appliances lend a professional feel to this very cozy family gathering spot.
